Judgment Day Member Confirms WWE Character Shift
A Judgment Day member recently confirmed their heelish character shift in an unapologetic interview.
Raquel Rodriguez has her sights on the WWE Women’s World Championship, currently held by Stephanie Vaquer.
Rodriguez herself has unsuccessfully challenged for the title multiple times, the latest occurring on the February 2 episode of Monday Night Raw.
During the taping, she faced La Primera in a Philadelphia Street Fight match that witnessed hard-hitting action from both the champion and the challenger.
In the closing minutes, the match witnessed interference from Rodriguez’s Judgment Day stablemates, Liv Morgan and Roxanne Perez.
While Perez was put through a table by Vaquer, Morgan was neutralized just enough not to cause any further disturbance in the match.
But with Rodriguez distracted, the 32-year-old champion made her move and hit her with the cockscrew moonsault for the victory.
Judgment Day Member Confirms Character Shift In WWE
Raquel Rodriguez’s feud with Stephanie Vaquer has been ongoing for a couple of months.
While speaking on TMZ’s Inside The Ring, “Big Sexy” confirmed her character shift by addressing a championship controversy.
The incident occurred during the Düsseldorf taping on January 12, when she not only cheap-shot Vaquer, but also attacked her injured leg with the championship belt.
Vaquer later shared an Instagram story of the aftermath, which showed the title sustaining damage. In a true heel fashion, Rodriguez gloated about her attack while bringing up the damaged belt.
During her appearance on the podcast, the 35-year-old Judgment Day member admitted that she didn’t even know she inadvertently damaged the belt but claimed that she had no regrets about her actions.
No. And you know what’s funny is I wouldn’t have known I broke it if Stephanie hadn’t posted the video of it being broken. She kind of like outed it on her own.
At least I can say that I broke the title on her ankle.
I’ve played nice long enough. I’ve obviously been the good guy. I’ve been the partner to so many people.
But now I don’t care. I don’t want to be on everyone else’s level. I was not born to be on everyone else’s level. I’m on my own level. [H/T: Ringside News]
