Judgment Day Star Breaks Character With AJ Styles Tribute
One Judgment Day star has broken character to pay their own special tribute to AJ Styles.
AJ Styles was forced to hang up his boots after losing to Gunther at the 2026 Royal Rumble. Despite questions about Styles’ future outside WWE, it seems he’s staying put at least for the time being.
The February 23rd edition of RAW saw WWE pay its own tribute to AJ Styles in his home state of Georgia. With the show nearing its end, The Undertaker made a shock appearance and told Styles that he is going to be inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame as part of the Class of 2026.
When RAW went off the air, the WWE locker room emptied with stars from Styles’ past joining the stars of today to give Styles an emotional send-off.
AJ Styles An Inspiration To Judgment Day Star
Now, one Judgment Day star has broken from his villainous on-screen character to pay his own tribute to The Phenomenal One.
Taking to social media, JD McDonagh said it was an honour to share the ring with AJ Styles:
All any wrestler should ever want is to leave behind a body of work like @ajstylesp1 , and get out with their health. It was an honour to be able to share the ring with one of the greatest of a generation. Thank you for the matches, and thank you for being someone to look up to in the ring and in the lockerroom.
