Jon Moxley survived a tough title match at AEW Double or Nothing 2026.

Jon Moxley has been the AEW Continental Champion since winning the Continental Classic last year. He has also survived some of the toughest title defences against the likes of Konosuke Takeshita and Will Ospreay during his reign. Last Wednesday on Dynamite, Moxley squared off against Kyle O’Reilly in a Continental title eliminator match. The match ended in a 20-minute time-limit draw.

Following the time-limit draw, Kyle O’Reilly was slated to challenge Jon Moxley for the AEW Continental title at the Double or Nothing 2026 pay-per-view. The two last faced each other at Full Gear 2025, where O’Reilly defeated Moxley in a no-holds-barred match.

Jon Moxley retains his title after a competitive encounter

Jon Moxley and Kyle O’Reilly put on a technical wrestling clinic at Double or Nothing 2026, as both gave it their all. At the end of a compelling back-and-forth encounter, Moxley managed to retain his Continental Championship yet again, and his reign will continue. After his win, Jon Moxley celebrated with his Death Riders stablemates and also offered respect to Kyle O’Reilly, as he pushed Moxley to the limit.

Fans will have to wait and see what’s next for Jon Moxley as the AEW Continental Champion.
