John Cena will lend his recognizable voice for an upcoming Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles that will be released in the summer of 2023.

For the past five years, John Cena has become a much bigger star in Hollywood after having a very successful run in WWE that started in 2002. While WWE fans don’t see the future Hall of Famer that often, he is certainly a busy man with all of the acting roles he has and other things to keep him busy.

It was announced by Seth Rogen at Nickelodeon’s Kids Choice Awards that John Cena will be part of the star-studded cast of the new CGI-animated film called “Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Mutant Mayhem” that will hit theatres on August 4th. Cena will play Rocksteady while Rogen will be Bebop in the film.

The official synopsis of “Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Mutant Mayhem” is as follows:

“In Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Mutant Mayhem, after years of being sheltered from the human world, the Turtle brothers set out to win the hearts of New Yorkers and be accepted as normal teenagers through heroic acts. Their new friend April O’Neil helps them take on a mysterious crime syndicate, but they soon get in over their heads when an army of mutants is unleashed upon them.”
