John Cena Reveals His Co-Star’s Reaction After Brutal WWE RAW Assault
One of John Cena’s co-stars from an upcoming Hollywood flick suffered a brutal beatdown on WWE Raw.
On June 15, Eric Andre attended the live taping of the red brand in Baltimore, Maryland, and was seen occupying a front-row seat by the aisle.
The show was opened by The Bloodline’s Roman Reigns, The Usos, and Jacob Fatu, where the OTC proceeded to speak about his family’s legacy in the company.
The current WWE World Heavyweight Champion name-dropped the Wild Samoans, Yokozuna, Rikishi, and Umaga before getting a few cheers for The Usos as well.
Jey and Jimmy Uso were, however, displeased when Fatu did not acknowledge them. It led to a brief, intense interaction between the cousins, but Reigns seemed impressed by Fatu’s conviction.
Reigns then officially welcomed The Samoan Werewolf into The Bloodline by presenting him with an Ula Fala, something The Usos did not seem to like.
As the group proceeded to head backstage, the members exchanged pleasantries with Eric Andre. The actor, though, got too close to Fatu and touched his Ula Fala, which the 35-year-old did not appreciate.
Fatu dragged Andre to the ring and hit him with two splashes after Reigns ordered him to do so.
Elsewhere, 17-time World Champion John Cena got the chance to speak with Eric Andre after the vicious assault. Cena recently revealed Andre’s surprise reaction to the attack.
John Cena Reveals What Eric Andre Told Him About Jacob Fatu’s WWE Assault
John Cena and Eric Andre star in the upcoming comedy film Little Brother, directed by Matt Spicer, and will start streaming on Netflix on June 26.
On screen, the attack on Andre looked as brutal as one could imagine, coming from a 285-pound Samoan wrestler. However, Andre’s off-screen reaction was not one of pain and distress, but quite the opposite.
While speaking to Adam’s Apple during an interview, John Cena claimed that Eric Andre walked away from the WWE experience as a happy man.
My castmate and little brother, Eric Andre, just got his first WWE appearance a few nights ago. He’s like, ‘Man, it was the best thing of my life.’ So it was just transferring that passion to another lane.
Eric Andre’s involvement in the WWE Raw segment not only helped promote Little Brother, but it also gave a huge boost to Jacob Fatu’s character as well.
Later in the evening, Fatu and Reigns were seen discussing their next plan of action, which fans speculate could be an attack on Seth Rollins. Surprisingly, The Usos were not a part of the segment, which could build tension between the members of the group.
