Jey Uso’s WWE Attacker Is Also Jacob Fatu’s – And It’s Not Drew McIntyre
Jey Uso was shockingly taken out in another mystery attack on last night’s WWE SmackDown.
Last November, Jacob Fatu fell victim to a backstage attack on SmackDown. Although he accused Drew McIntyre of being his attacker, The Scottish Warrior denied these accusations.
Last night, Fatu’s cousin, Jey Uso, suffered a similar fate on SmackDown. The Samoan Werewolf even went with the former World Heavyweight Champion to the hospital following the ambush.
With the current World Tag Team Champion out of the picture, Jacob Fatu and Logan Paul demanded to replace him in the Elimination Chamber. SmackDown General Manager then announced a match between the two to determine Uso’s replacement. The Maverick emerged victorious following interference from McIntyre.
Is Sami Zayn Jey Uso’s Attacker?
Sami Zayn confronted Jacob Fatu backstage before the latter’s match against Logan Paul. The former Honorary Uce implied that The Samoan Werewolf might have been his cousin’s attacker. Fatu responded by reversing the accusations. A conflicted Zayn then apologized and wished the 33-year-old good luck in his match
The former Intercontinental Champion then had an emotional breakdown backstage. That came a week after he had a heated backstage confrontation with Cody Rhodes. Speaking on his Notsam Wrestling podcast, WWE analyst Sam Roberts suggested Zayn could be the one who attacked both Fatu and Uso, adding that the reveal could signal the former Bloodline member’s heel turn.
I believe that we’ere gonna find out the same person is the person that was behind kicking Jacob Fatu’s teeth down his throat is the same person that was behind taking out Jey Uso. And I do not think it was Drew McIntyre. But I do think that those two people have one thing in common. The last name is Fatu. I think that Sami Zayn could harbor resentment from the days of The Bloodline and realizing that he hasn’t gotten his. He didn’t come out of that as a world champion and maybe that’s how we get villainous Sami Zayn. [7:51 onwards]
