Jade Cargill’s Status For WWE Raw

Jade Cargill AEW

A new report reveals whether or not Jade Cargill is expected to be part of WWE Raw following her AEW exit.

After being absent since her loss to Kris Statlander at Double or Nothing, Jade Cargill made her return to AEW on the September 9th episode of Collision, attacking Statlander and setting up a rematch for the TBS Championship.

Cargill’s return was short-lived, however. After a highly praised match with Statlander for the September 15th episode of Rampage, she reportedly hugged many people backstage as she said farewell to All Elite Wrestling. It was later reported that her contract with AEW has indeed expired, and she’s WWE-bound imminently.

In fact, PWInsider reported earlier today that Cargill was in Orlando, FL to meet with WWE. Fightful Select shed more light on the situation, reporting that she is not expected to be on Raw or NXT this week, but that she is expected to sign a deal with the company.

An update from PWInsider this afternoon revealed that while Cargill was in Orlando, she is already headed home to Atlanta as she was spotted in first class on a flight. The report also notes that she has been removed from AEW’s roster page.

Will Jade Cargill Go To WWE’s Main Roster Or NXT?

The report from Fightful Select stated that WWE sources are speculating about whether or not Jade Cargill will spend time in NXT before heading to the main roster. At this time, those plans are not yet clear, though a recent report indicated she’s likely main roster-bound. Whether or not she spends time in NXT, creative has already begun making plans for her, and she’s set to receive a massive push when she does debut for the company.
