Jade Cargill Names WWE Legend As Dream Opponent
Jade Cargill has a legendary WWE superstar in mind as a dream opponent.
It was over two years ago when Jade Cargill signed with WWE after wrestling for AEW for a few years.
After spending most of her first year as a tag team with Bianca Belair, Cargill broke out in 2025 as the Queen of the Ring winner, and she won the WWE Women’s Title at Saturday Night’s Main Event on November 1st.
Since winning the WWE Women’s Title, the heel champion Cargill has gotten a lot of heat because she has yet to defend it on television. Cargill has defended the gold on WWE live events, but not on television. It’s been over 80 days since her win, so the heat is on her on social media all the time.
Jade Cargill Wants To Wrestle Charlotte Flair
As for the future, the SmackDown star Jade Cargill told the Beyond the Bell podcast that fellow blue brand wrestler Charlotte Flair is her dream opponent. Considering Flair is a former 14-time WWE Women’s Champion (by far the most title reigns of all time), it’s certainly possible the match could happen down the road.
“Charlotte Flair. I love Charlotte Flair. I think she and I will have an amazing match. And one thing I know that Charlotte does is, she pulls whomever up that she works with or she tries her best to do that.
And she wants to do nothing but represent and elevate the women’s division. And I want to do the same exact thing. So that’s one woman I want to work with for sure.”
Cargill continued by explaining why she wants to test herself against somebody like Flair.
“I mean, it’s Charlotte Flair. I really want to work with Charlotte Flair. And she has this persona that’s beyond herself as well, so I would love to go toe-to-toe with Charlotte Flair. She’s the ‘Top Girl,’ I’m the ‘It Girl.’ Like, I would love that.”
In the second half of 2025 and so far in 2026, Charlotte Flair has focused on being a tag team with Alexa Bliss, but it seems likely that she’ll be back in the singles division soon and since Cargill is the champion, it’s a match that could definitely happen later this year.
