Who Replaced Jade Cargill At WWE Elimination Chamber?

Jade Cargill’s WWE creative continues to change.

Ahead of Elimination Chamber, it was reported that plans for Jade Cargill had been scrapped. It was believed that the former AEW star was set to win a Last-Chance Battle Royal before taking her place in the match, but those plans were changed.

Writing in the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, Dave Meltzer confirmed Cargill was replaced by Raquel Rodriguez. With regard to the Chamber match itself, Meltzer reiterated an earlier report that Raquel Rodriguez was almost forced to miss out.

At one point Jade Cargill was scheduled for the match, but she was replaced by Rodriguez. Rodriguez then on the trip over had a flare up of her Mast Cell Activation Syndrome, the malady that had kept her out of action for two-and-a-half months and there was a question if they had brought her back too soon.

It was serious enough that she was unable to participate in the practice match the women did while in Australia and it was touch-and-go whether she would be in the match.

Jade Cargill To Be Added To WWE 2K24

It’s been announced that Jade Cargill will be part of a Downloadable Content pack for WWE 2K24. However, fans will have to wait for the star to be available as she isn’t arriving in the game until September alongside Nia Jax, Michelle McCool, Carlito, Kairi Sane, Lyra Valkyria, and Dragon Lee.

Meanwhile, CM Punk will be available for download in May.

WWE 2K24 will be released on March 8th with special editions going on sale three days earlier.
