Jade Cargill Reveals The One Thing She Likes About Rhea Ripley
Jade Cargill found something nice to say about her WrestleMania opponent, Rhea Ripley.
Rhea Ripley punched her ticket to another championship match at WrestleMania by winning the Women’s Elimination Chamber match. The reward for that victory is a match against the confident WWE Women’s Champion Jade Cargill, who has held the title since November 1, 2025, and has rarely defended it.
Since the Cargill-Ripley match was announced, there have been rumors of legit heat between Cargill and Ripley, based on social media banter. Some of the banter included Cargill claiming that Ripley used backstage politics to earn her place at the top of the card in the women’s division. In response, Ripley hit back by saying Cargill had no friends, did not know how to work, and even called her a liar.
On the March 6th edition of WWE SmackDown, Jade Cargill and Rhea Ripley had an in-ring segment where they praised eachother physically, but also took shots at eachother as well without getting physical.
Jade Cargill Is Impressed By Rhea Ripley’s Finishing Move
When it comes to finishing moves, Jade Cargill’s Jaded move is a powerful hold that ends with a faceplant for her opponent. As for Rhea Ripley’s Riptide, Cargill told DC Young Fly on the Hawks AF podcast that she liked Ripley’s Riptide finisher when asked about what finishing move impresses her.
“I would say maybe Rhea Ripley. I like the Riptide…it doesn’t seem like it’s easy and it seems like it really hurts.”
