Jade Cargill Reportedly Cut Off By WWE Deliberately

A former WWE employee thinks that Jade Cargill isn’t being featured in the same way as Rhea Ripley.

The WWE Women’s Champion Jade Cargill has solidified herself as a dominant, heel champion since winning the title from Tiffany Stratton in November 2025.

At WrestleMania 42, Cargill will face her toughest test by far when she defends the WWE Women’s Title against the Women’s Elimination Chamber match winner, Rhea Ripley.

Since the match has been announced, Cargill and Ripley took serious shots at eachother on social media, with Cargill claiming that Ripley used backstage politics to get a push. As far as their in-ring interactions go, Cargill and Ripley have exchanged words, but it has mostly been verbal and not physical.

On a recent episode of the Coach & Bro Show, former WWE writer Vince Russo made the claim that WWE officials are favoring Rhea Ripley over Jade Cargill because of what they show on YouTube clips involving the two women.

“Guess what, when you go to YouTube after the show, and they have the ten-minute highlight reel, they pick up the promo when Jade’s done talking. So all you hear is Rhea Ripley.

Guys, please don’t tell me that wasn’t done on purpose. They are cutting Jade Cargill out. They are cutting their promo out, and they are putting the spotlight and everything on Rhea Ripley, that is done by design, guys, you’ve got to understand these little games, man!”

Whether Vince Russo’s conspiracy theory is true or not is up to each individual to decide, but it certainly raises questions about why those videos are edited that way.

“Rhea Has Never Seen Someone Like Me” – Jade Cargill

In a recent interview promoting WrestleMania 42, Jade Cargill explained that while she knows Rhea Ripley is a top female star in WWE, she also thinks Ripley has never faced anyone like Cargill.

“I don’t wanna say this is gonna be an easy match, it’s not. I’m going against the top girl, the number one girl in the company. I don’t think anyone would argue that. Do I know that I’m coming home with my title? Yes, I do. I’m gonna go balls to the wall, I’m going in with no regrets, I’ve learned from my mistakes in the past.”

“Rhea has never seen someone like me. I think she’s phenomenal in her own right, but I’m phenomenal in mine as well. I’m not about to end my undefeated streak at WrestleMania, I’m about to go 3-0 on that a**.”

“I think you guys are gonna see us put on a show and a clinic. I think she’s great, but I’m better. I’m a powerhouse, no one has seen me go toe to toe with such a stellar opponent, and yes, this will be the grandest match of my career so far, and the fact I’m just starting and have so much to go is crazy.”
