Caught! Jacy Jayne’s Emotional Gesture With Lola Vice After NXT Title Loss [Video]
Jacy Jayne may have hinted at her WWE future with an emotional gesture.
On Saturday, Jayne defended her NXT Women’s Championship at Stand & Deliver against Lola Vice and Kendal Grey in a 3-way match, having held it for 137 days.
The bout opened the evening, and what followed were multiple intense fighting sequences by all three competitors.
Jayne even received help several times from her Fatal Influence stablemates, Fallon Henly and Lainey Reid, before they were taken out by Wren Sinclair.
All superstars won close pinfalls at different times during the match. In the closing minutes, Jacy Jayne wiped out Kendal Grey with her Rolling Encore finisher, sending her out of the ring.
Just as she turned around, she was met with a back fist from Lola Vice, who successfully pinned her to win her first NXT Women’s Championship. Vice is also one-half of the AAA World Mixed Tag Team Champions with Mr. Iguana.
Following her loss, Jayne made a secret gesture towards Vice as a way of passing the baton. Fans later speculated whether or not she was main roster-bound following WrestleMania 42.

Jacy Jayne Believes She Is Ready For The WWE Main Roster
Jacy Jayne has been a part of WWE’s developmental brand for nearly five years, having debuted on NXT in July 2021.
The two-time NXT Women’s Champion recently spoke to Fox News Digital, where she revealed that she was ready to receive the main roster call-up while putting the women’s division on notice.
I’ve been in NXT for about five years now. I feel like if I got called up two or three years ago, it wouldn’t have ended well. I would have been gone by now. Everybody always loves to say that they’re ready, and in reality, you’re not ready. It takes time to develop. It takes time to get confident and know your craft.
I feel now I’m ready. I know I can stand in the ring with anybody. I’m not intimidated. I can go with the best. So, I’m ready. Whenever they decide I’m ready, I’m going to be there, and I’m gonna take a spot. And all of them should be ready.
