Jacob Fatu destroyed Roman Reigns and The Usos on WWE Raw this week.

Following Reigns’ victory over CM Punk for the World Heavyweight Championship at WrestleMania 42, his cousin Jacob Fatu stepped up and challenged him for the title, stating that he wanted it not for himself, but for his family, as he aimed to give them a better life.

Despite Reigns’ repeated warnings, Fatu refused to back down and faced him in a one-on-one match at Backlash. Fatu delivered a dominant performance at the PLE. However, Roman Reigns gained the upper hand after smashing Fatu’s head into an exposed turnbuckle and pinning him.

After the bell rang, both stars were laid out in the ring, but Jacob Fatu was the first to get back to his feet. Frustrated with the outcome, he launched a brutal assault on Reigns, locking in a vicious chokehold. Fatu continued choking Roman Reigns until The Tribal Chief began foaming at the mouth. Multiple security personnel, along with Adam Pearce, attempted to intervene but failed to pull him away.

Even after being separated, Fatu broke free and charged back at Reigns, once again applying the chokehold. Although Roman Reigns picked up the victory at Backlash, Jacob Fatu was the last man standing.

Jacob Fatu Launches Unhinged Attack On Roman Reigns On WWE Raw

A similar scenario unfolded on this week’s Monday Night Raw during the Tribal Chief acknowledgment ceremony. On the May 11 edition of RAW, WWE held a ceremony for Roman Reigns following his Backlash victory, with Jacob Fatu to be a part of it. However, Fatu refused to acknowledge Reigns and instead launched another unhinged attack.

Before going after Reigns, Fatu took out Jimmy and Jey Uso, who were present to support The Tribal Chief. He then repeatedly applied the same devastating chokehold on Reigns, once again leaving him foaming at the mouth. The assault escalated as Fatu lifted Reigns and slammed him through the announce table.

To close the show, Fatu sprinted down the ramp and speared Roman Reigns and The Usos, sending them crashing through the ringside barricade, as Adam Pearce and security officials watched in shock.

Following the brutal assault on RAW, Royce Keys took to Twitter to acknowledge The Samoan Werewolf. He posted a message praising Jacob Fatu after the chaos he unleashed on Monday Night Raw.

Keys has been a strong supporter of Fatu throughout his rivalry with Roman Reigns, and ahead of Backlash, the two were seen in an intense backstage promo where Keys motivated Fatu to take down The Tribal Chief.
