[Watch] Unseen Footage Of Roman Reigns Struggling After WWE RAW Assault

A viral video showed how Roman Reigns was struggling to even walk after getting brutally assaulted by Jacob Fatu on RAW this week.

After Roman Reigns won the World Heavyweight Championship at WrestleMania 42, Jacob Fatu stepped up as his first challenger for the title. Jacob squared off against Reigns for the World title in the main event of the Backlash 2026 PLE. At the end of a great match, Roman managed to retain his title. However, The Samoan Werewolf continued to assault The OTC despite his loss.

Jacob Fatu continued to show his vicious side this week on RAW, as he took out The Usos on his way to attack Roman Reigns yet again. Roman was ready with a steel chair in his hand this time, as he launched some chair shots on Fatu. However, Jacob got the upper hand yet again, as he brutally dropped Reigns and The Usos through the barricade before leaving.

After RAW went off the air, the WWE medical team came to check on Roman, as he was seemingly injured and struggling to walk in a viral video from after the show.

Jacob Fatu on his continuous attacks on Roman Reigns

Before facing Roman Reigns at Backlash 2026, Jacob Fatu was asked why he continues to attack Roman Reigns during an interview with ESPN. Jacob gave the following explanation on assaulting Roman:

Oh man, it’s all gas, no brakes, as y’all could tell what it was. You know, at the end of the day, Backlash live and direct on the ESPN’s Get Up. Live and direct in Tampa. Absolutely. See, it’s different. You know, it’s different when you talk about my kids, when you talk about family.

You know, this is my older cousin. This is the tribal chief, but at the end of the day, what family don’t fight? I need to feed my family and take care of them just as well as he does. Our family has been in WWE for well over a couple decades… with me coming in for two years now, it’s only right just to head to the top.

If you want to go through the top, you got to take out who’s at the top… and who’s at the top of the food chain and who has been there for a very long time—we’re talking about 12 WrestleManias—is none other than Roman Reigns,” Fatu stated.

It remains to be seen what’s next in the story between Roman Reigns and Jacob Fatu.
