Huge WWE Babyface May Be Revealed As Jacob Fatu’s Mystery Attacker

Jacob Fatu

Jacob Fatu’s attacker has yet to get revealed on WWE SmackDown.

Last October, The Samoan Werewolf was scheduled to square off with Drew McIntyre on SmackDown in an Undisputed WWE Championship number-one contender’s match before he was attacked backstage.

Following the attack, Fatu went on hiatus for a few months before returning to go after The Scottish Warrior during the latter’s Undisputed WWE Championship Cage Match against Cody Rhodes. In the process, the real-life Bloodline member got into a physical altercation with The American Nightmare, allowing McIntyre to leave the cage and capture the title.

Who Was Jacob Fatu’s Mystery Attacker?

Although Jacob Fatu targeted Drew McIntyre upon his comeback from injury, it was never confirmed that the current Undisputed WWE Champion was the one who attacked The Samoan Werewolf backstage. The Scottish Warrior even denied being that person.

Speaking on his Notsam Wrestling podcast, WWE analyst Sam Roberts discussed a fan’s suggestion that Sami Zayn could be the one who attacked Fatu. The 42-year-old claimed it would be a great idea for the former Honorary Uce to get revealed as the Mystery attacker.

Sami is a great pick for that. Yes, Sami is an incredible pick for that. Jacob vs. Sami? Yes. And how would he have knocked, well, he wouldn’t have done a Helluva Kick. I’m curious if they’re gonna explain how Jacob got his teeth knocked out without seeing who knocked out his teeth, but maybe they wore a mask. But yeah, Sami, I think Sami’s a great pick for that to tell you the truth. [57:22 onwards]
