How The Rascalz Really Kept Surprising TNA Detail In AEW
A new report has shed light on one surprising element of The Rascalz presentation that has also made the jump from TNA to AEW.
Tony Khan has been a busy man as he recently brought in former TNA faction The Rascalz. However, questions quickly arose when only Myron Reed, Zachary Wentz, and Desomond Xavier debuted on screen. Trey Miguel, who was also the odd man out when Wentz and Xavier joined WWE previously, was nowhere to be seen.
It has since emerged that Miguel had signed with AEW, but just as quickly, he was released from his contract. That decision was believed to have been made above Tony Khan’s head, with Miguel’s controversial past comments coming into play.
The Rascalz Keep TNA Music In AEW
Despite being forced to leave Miguel behind, many of the other recognisable aspects of The Rascalz presentation have remained the same. Including their theme music, but in the litigious world of pro wrestling, how has that happened?
Fightful Select has now reported on how The Rascalz have been able to keep their original TNA theme song despite now being in AEW. It turns out not to be a case of Tony Khan buying the rights for the song from TNA, but rather the song appears in a music library that AEW is already licensing. That meant AEW could use the same music for the group at no additional cost.
