Gunther Is Back! WrestleMania Opponent Confirmed On WWE RAW

Gunther has finally returned to WWE RAW, and his WrestleMania opponent has been revealed.

The Ring General has been absent from the red brand since his victory over Dragon Lee on the March 2 episode. During his absence, reports suggested that the former World Heavyweight Champion was set to square off with WWE Hall of Famer Rey Mysterio at WrestleMania 42.

Nevertheless, these plans were nixed after The Master of the 619 suffered an injury. Despite this, other reports confirmed that WWE would still have Gunther on WrestleMania in some capacity.

Gunther To Face Seth Rollins At WWE WrestleMania 42?

During tonight’s episode of RAW, Adam Pearce informed Paul Heyman that the Boston Police had dropped all charges against Seth Rollins and that The Visionary was finally cleared to compete.

The former World Heavyweight Champion then attacked The Oracle with a chair. However, Rollins was dragged outside the ring by Gunther before delivering a stomp to Heyman and was choked out.

Later on the show, Adam Pearce spoke with Jackie Redmond about Rollins’ condition, disclosing that The Visionary was angry and looking for a receipt. The RAW General Manager then confirmed that Rollins and Gunther would go head-to-head at WrestleMania.
