Former WWE Champion’s Surprise Appearance Shakes Up Men’s Royal Rumble

WWE Men’s Royal Rumble got the main event started on a hot note as the match featured the main roster debut of the former NXT Champion, Oba Femi.

Oba was set to challenge Bron Breakker as they were the first two entrants in the match, but Breakker was taken out by a masked figure, allowing Oba to eliminate him with ease.

The fans were also treated to the debut of former AEW star Powerhouse Hobbs in WWE. He debuted with a new name, Royce Keys, in the company, as he made a dominant start.

Former WWE Champion returns during Royal Rumble

The match featured another surprise appearance from a former WWE Champion, as Chad Gable made his comeback from injury. Gable came back under his El Grande Americano moniker as he dubbed himself the original Americano.

He looked incredibly ripped and sported a new look with a thick beard. He got into an altercation with the other El Grande Americano, and the two fought with each other as they were eliminated almost together from the match.
