Former AEW Star After Huge WWE Move: “I Am A Monday Night RAW Legend”
A current WWE talent has established themselves as a legend despite having joined the Stamford promotion only a couple of weeks ago.
Danhausen was revealed as the newest member of the company at the Elimination Chamber when managers of both Raw and SmackDown opened the mystery crate.
The 35-year-old star appeared from the box along with eight women, who danced to his theme song.
Since then, Danhausen has made appearances on both Raw and SmackDown, even cursing multiple wrestlers along the way.
Some of the superstars who have fallen victim to his curse include Dominik Mysterio, The Miz, and The Original El Grande Americano.
The former AEW star recently appeared on Raw Recap, where he was asked whether he had gotten used to WWE, to which he replied that he was already a legend.
It’s been great. Been very busy. I am a Monday Night RAW legend, and I am a Friday Night SmackDown legend. So, it has been quite nice. I’ve been very busy, very evil. I have been top of the merchandise sales. Who’d have thought? Danhausen would’ve. And I’ve been cursing some foes and I have been trying to make some friends, but we’ve seen how that goes.
CM Punk Influenced Danhausen’s WWE Move
Danhausen is quickly gaining prominence among fans despite often being featured in backstage segments only.
On March 9, however, he made a brief appearance in Seattle, where he addressed the live audience, encouraging them to buy his merchandise before cursing them.
It has also been reported by Wrestling Observer that CM Punk influenced Danhausen’s move to WWE. The two wrestlers developed a genuine friendship that stemmed from an online interaction that occurred in the early 2020s.
Punk has even appeared in a few backstage videos with him.
