Fan Calls 911 After CM Punk Shoved Them During WWE WrestleMania Weekend
CM Punk could have been in major trouble after his alleged actions with a fan following WrestleMania 42.
It’s been reported that CM Punk lost his cool at a couple of fans who were looking to get an autograph from the WWE star.
Punk was at the MGM Grand Hotel & Casino in Vegas after WrestleMania weekend, and when a couple of fans got too close to him and his friend, WWE star Bayley, Punk allegedly shoved one of them in the chest. The incident took place on April 20th in the MGM hotel lobby.
Punk also slapped the cell phone out of the hands of another fan who tried to get too close to Bayley, and it can be seen in a video released by TMZ.
The fan who was pushed on the chest dialled 911 to describe the alleged assault to a female dispatcher and spoke in Spanish with an interpreter on the line. Although the fan said that he was “violently attacked” by CM Punk, the interpreter didn’t use those words and translated a play-by-play of the events that unfolded according to the fan, in which it was said that Punk shoved the fan in the chest, and his face was red with anger. An audio recording of the 911 call was released by TMZ.
Luckily for CM Punk, there was no action taken by the authorities.
CM Punk Confronted Cody Rhodes On Raw And Teased A WWE Title Match
On the Raw episode after WrestleMania 42, CM Punk came out to the ring to discuss how he’d been handling grief, as many people he knew from the crew in WWE had recently passed away, along with the loss of his dog Larry.
Rhodes came out to interrupt the promo, and the two had a heated discussion on who looks like the loser after WrestleMania. Punk then looked at Rhodes’ WWE Championship and said that he’ll be ready to take an opportunity if it comes his way, to which Rhodes simply said, “Hey Punk. Just say when.”
