Ex-WWE Universal Champion Has Unfinished Business With Roman Reigns

A top WWE star plans to get his revenge on Roman Reigns sooner rather than later.

The Original Tribal Chief returned last month to win the 2026 Men’s Royal Rumble match and punch his ticket to the main event of WrestleMania 42.

The former leader of The Bloodline later confronted the World Heavyweight Champion CM Punk on RAW to announce that he was challenging him at the Show of Shows.

CM Punk Will Face Finn Balor Before Roman Reigns

Before CM Punk’s highly anticipated clash with Roman Reigns at WrestleMania, The Second City Saint will defend his World Heavyweight Championship against Finn Balor this Saturday at Elimination Chamber.

In a recent interview with ESPN’s SportsCenter, The Prince was asked about potentially facing The OTC at The Showcase of the Immortals if he beats Punk in Chicago. The Judgment Day member admitted to having unfinished business with Reigns, recalling the controversial finish to their last match.

What more motivation would you need than to go on to main event WrestleMania against Roman Reigns? Well, I have a little more motivation because the last time I face Roman Reigns, I had him beat right in the middle of the ring and there was a malfunction with the top rope. The top rope snapped. Roman takes advantage. Roman retains the championship. So, there’s certainly a lot of unfinished business between me and Roman.
