Ex-WWE Star Returns As A Mystery Partner At AEW Dynasty; Wins Title
The Dogs put their AEW World Trios Championship on the line against The Conglomeration on Sunday.
At Collision, David Finlay, Gabe Kidd, and Clark Connors defeated JetSpeed & Mistico to become the new champions.
Following their victory, Orange Cassidy and Roderick Strong issued them a challenge for Dynasty, although they did not reveal the identity of the third member of their team.
Earlier in the evening, a report by Fightful Select claimed that Kyle O’Reilly would be making his return to join Orange Cassidy and Roderick Strong, which turned out to be true.
The Conglomeration Dethrone The Dogs At AEW Dynasty
The Dogs suffered a shocking loss to The Conglomeration at AEW Dynasty. In the process, they lost the World Trios Championships after just 5 days, as they won it during the pre-taped Collision episode on April 8.
The bout itself witnessed tremendous action, with all 6 superstars playing a major part in neutralizing each other at key moments.
In the closing minutes, Clark Connors tapped out to Kyle O’Reilly’s ankle lock. Holding the newly won belt, Reilly looked skyward, paying tribute to his father, who passed away on March 27.
