Ex-WWE Diva: I Couldn’t Be With CM Punk So I Dated His Friend… He Cheated On Me

A former WWE Diva once had feelings for CM Punk but dated his friend. It did not end well.

On her podcast Too Much Information, Shelly Martinez (aka Ariel) opened up about her feelings for The Second City Saint earlier in her career. The two shared the locker room in OVW and WWE for a few years.

The 45-year-old admitted that she had a huge crush on Punk, wanted to hook up with him, and desired to become his girlfriend. However, it never happened.

The Former WWE Diva Dated CM Punk’s Friend

While Shelly Martinez admitted on her podcast that she knew she could not have a romance with CM Punk, she revealed that she dated a friend of the current World Heavyweight Champion.

The former Ariel disclosed that the relationship ended after she discovered that he was cheating on her with another female wrestler in the locker room.

I knew I could never be with him [CM Punk] or even try to go there because he was friends with that guy. And that’s weird. I would be mad. Like, I put myself in my ex’s shoes and I would be really really pi**ed like at the person I used to be with, the whole thing. So, I’m like, ‘Okay, I don’t want that.’ So, going to this dude, I don’t know if that’s what he was going for, but he was like kind of reminded me at the time of Punk in a way.

And so that’s the only reason why he got my interest is because I couldn’t have Punk and he was presenting himself as Punk. Well, later on I found out from him that he had been listening to my podcast and stuff, like leading up to the show where I met him at. So, he was getting to know me. In my head, I’m thinking, ‘Oh, cool. He was listening to my podcast. He wants to hear the story.’ B*tch no, he was studying me. He was studying what I like. And who did I always put over? Freaking Punk.

I was always putting over Punk. I even did a photoshoot and it was for my website and I have my CM Punk shirt on and it’s like cut off. Like, I have put him over to the moon, not because I’m thirsty for his attention, but because I support that as a person in the business and saw his rise to fame. So, that’s the only reason why that guy, like I said, had a chance. Long story short, he ended up cheating on me and everyone in the locker room knew except me. And the girl was in the locker room.
