Ex-WWE Champion Returns To RAW After 4 Months To Confront Oba Femi

Oba Femi made a highly impressive debut on the WWE main roster during last month’s Royal Rumble event. The Ruler was the first entrant in the match and had a huge impact on the match.

He ended his time in the Rumble with five eliminations to his name, the joint most for this year’s event. He was level in terms of eliminations with the eventual winner of the match, Roman Reigns.

Since then, both the RAW and SmackDown General Managers have been clamouring to sign the former two-time NXT Champion to their respective brands.

Rusev made a surprise appearance on WWE RAW

Oba Femi was presented with an offer by Nick Aldis last week on SmackDown, before Adam Pearce made him an offer to sign for RAW as well. Femi stated that he would consider the offer before being confronted by a former champion.

Former US Champion, Rusev, made his first appearance on WWE RAW in four months, as he confronted the man who eliminated him from the Royal Rumble.

Both men were involved in a staredown backstage, but didn’t get physical with each other. Rusev’s last appearance on RAW saw him compete in the first round of the Last Time Is Now tournament.
