Ex-WWE Champion Would Kill Triple H In Real Fight, Says Veteran
A former champion in WWE would kill Triple H in a real fight, according to a former writer in the company.
WWE Unreal has taken fans behind the scenes again in its second season, and for some fans, some of what they’ve seen has been downright alarming. SmackDown has been suffering creatively in recent months, and WWE Hall of Famer Road Dogg Brian James, as one of the lead writers of the show, has been given the lion’s share of the blame by many fans.
That might seem unfair, but when James is seen on Unreal lamenting he doesn’t know what to do if one of his most charismatic stars, Chelsea Green, wins a title, then alarm bells do start to ring.
But don’t worry, Road Dogg, someone who knows all about writing wrestling shows into oblivion has your back.
Triple H Isn’t A Fighter Says Vince Russo
Speaking on The Coach & Bro Show, former WWE and WCW writer Vince Russo went to bat for Road Dogg, noting that the former WWE Tag Team Champion was clearly uncomfortable speaking in writer’s meetings:
When you watch him in that room, basically saying, ‘Why should I say anything? Every time I bring something up, I’m shut down.’ So, he’s totally uncomfortable speaking in those meetings, which means he doesn’t want to say the same things, which means he’s got to bite his tongue.
Russo then brought up Brian James’ past as a war veteran, and suggested he’d kill his former DX partner Triple H in a real fight:
Brian James is a war veteran, bro. Brian James is a pretty tough guy. I’m telling you right now, Brian James would probably kill Triple H in a real fight. Triple H isn’t a fighter; he’s a television wrestler.
Those unhappy with SmackDown might continue to hope that Road Dogg doesn’t pipe up in meetings, and it’s probably best for his unemployment prospects if he doesn’t pick a physical fight with his boss.
