Ex-WWE Champion Confesses To Hating Wrestling Triple H

Triple H WWE

A former champion in WWE has admitted that they hated Triple H for this one particular reason.

Although publicly, WWE stars are normally gushing over Triple H, the reality is that very few people think particularly fondly of their boss. And it seems that it was his ever-increasing power while still competing in WWE that made plenty of other stars wary of him.

Triple H Matches Caused Stress For WWE Star

Speaking on his YouTube channel, former WWE Hardcore Champion Maven admitted that while Triple H was one of his favourite opponents, he hated having to get in the ring with him:

Being in the ring with Hunter was like taking an ultimate exam. Success meant your career would skyrocket, and failure could lead to losing your career altogether.

Triple H was a wrestler; he’s one of the boys backstage, but he’s also Vince’s son-in-law and held a lot of power in that company. Impress him, sky’s the limit. Think of Randy Orton, Batista. Fail him, think of, well, me.

Aside from the backstage power, there was truly no one better in the ring than Hunter, making a match with him even more intimidating. But in saying that, Triple H was also one of my favourite opponents.

Knowing what was at stake for my career if I impressed him, but also knowing that he was truly one of the best in the game. Still, though, every time I wrestled Triple H, I walked around the entire day with a pit in my stomach.
