Ex-WWE Champion Allegedly Has 0% Chance Of Winning At Elimination Chamber
AJ Lee will compete in her first singles match in over a decade tonight at WWE Elimination Chamber.
The former Divas Champion initially retired from professional wrestling in 2015. After nearly 10 years of absence, The Black Widow returned ahead of Wrestlepalooza last September to join forces with her husband, CM Punk, in his feud with Seth Rollins and Becky Lynch.
Lee and Punk defeated The Man and The Visionary in a mixed tag team match at Wrestlepalooza before the former Divas Champion also led her team to beat Lynch’s in the Women’s WarGames match.
Lynch and Lee will now finally go one-on-one in a Women’s Intercontinental Championship match at Elimination Chamber tonight in Chicago. It will mark The Black Widow’s return to singles action for the first time in almost 11 years.
Becky Lynch Will Leave WWE Elimination Chamber With The Title, Says Seth Rollins
In a recent interview with ESPN’s Get Up, Seth Rollins discussed his wife’s upcoming match with AJ Lee. He claimed the former Divas Champion has no chance against Becky Lynch.
The former WWE Champion added that he has no doubts The Man will leave Chicago with the Women’s Intercontinental Championship.
Well, the thing about this, guys, is we gotta understand who she’s going up against. AJ Lee in her time, great Divas Champion. That was a long time ago. AJ Lee is having her first singles match, one-on-one competition in over a decade. And she’s going in there against a woman who has made her name as the greatest of all time for that last decade.
And that is The Man, Big Time Becks, Becky Lynch. I am looking forward to Becky Lynch proving to the entire world why she is the greatest, the one of one, The Man. There’s no doubt in my mind she walks out of Chicago still Intercontinental Champion. Look at this stun. you put her in there with anybody, she can take them out. AJ don’t stand a chance. Not a chance. [1:43 onwards]
