WWE is picking up the pace post WrestleMania season now as the company is gearing up for another major event at the end of this month. The promotion is set to host its first-ever PLE in Italy, with the Clash in Italy taking place in Turin, Italy.

Another huge aspect of the post-WrestleMania season is the return/debut of superstars across all three brands. Both SmackDown and RAW recently welcomed new additions to their roster.

NXT stars like Ricky Saints, Ethan Page, Sol Ruca, and Blake Monroe made the move to the main roster following WrestleMania 42. Meanwhile, the black and silver brand added global stars like Naraku and Mason Rook to their ranks.

It doesn’t seem like they’ll be the last additions the promotion makes to the roster, as rumors circulating online claim that former United States Champion, Baron Corbin, is on his way back to WWE.

Baron Corbin responds to rumors of WWE return

Fightful Select recently reported that Corbin has finished his obligations with other wrestling promotions like MLW, and is believed to have either signed with the promotion or will do so shortly.

However, it seems like the man himself has debunked this new report in a recent post on his X account. Corbin, now going by Tom Pestock, replied to the tweet that quoted Fightul Select and stated he recently accepted eight shows in Europe.

He even claimed in his post that he wasn’t aware that he had ended things with the promotion and sarcastically stated that someone needs to make him aware of his schedule.

Pestock made his return to the independent circuit after leaving WWE and has been making regular appearances for Major League Wrestling. He’s found decent success in MLW and currently holds the MLW World Tag Team Championship alongside tag team partner Dijak.

The former WWE stars, known as The Skyscrapers, have held the belt for over 330 days, making them the second-longest reigning tag team champions in the promotion’s history.
