Ex-AEW Star Lifts Lid On Jade Cargill’s Attitude In WWE

Jade Cargill

A former AEW star has revealed how Jade Cargill is reacting to her WWE run.

After finishing up a dominant run in AEW, Jade Cargill signed for WWE in September 2023. The company quickly hyped up Cargill, with the former TBS Champion making appearances for all three brands after making her onscreen debut at Fastlane.

However, Cargill soon disappeared from TV, instead reporting to the Performance Centre for several months. She burst back onto the scene at the Royal Rumble, making her WWE in-ring debut at Number 28. While Cargill didn’t win the 30-woman spectacular, she made an impression on the audience when she picked up Nia Jax and threw her over the top rope with ease.

Since then, the star has not had another match, leaving many wondering what longterm plans there are for her. One fan recently posted on social media claiming that there are no plans, with Cargill only having been hired “to stick it to Tony Khan and AEW.”

Former AEW star Fuego Del Sol responded to the comment, warning others not to interact with such “Outrage accounts.” He went on to set the record straight, saying he had spoken to Cargill recently and she has “a huge spot” in the company. He also noted that the star is “working like hell” behind the scenes to meet WWE’s high expectations.

“Breaking my own rule here as a warning. Don’t interact with Outrage accounts or engagement farming accounts like this. I’ve talked to Jade personally, she knows the huge spot WWE has for her and is working like hell behind the scenes to kill it when the opportunity comes.”

Original WWE Plans For Jade Cargill Could Be Set To Change

Jade Cargill was reportedly set to be part of WWE Elimination Chamber, but there are rumblings that this could change. Two of the last spots in the Women’s Elimination Chamber bout are due to be determined on the February 16th edition of SmackDown.

After that, the remaining spot was said to have been planned for Cargill, however, PWInsider has noted there is now a question mark over her status for the show in Perth, Australia.
