The first pay-per-view of the year for Tony Khan proved to be a huge success as AEW Revolution turned out to be an extremely refreshing and exciting show which was loved by the fans.

The event saw some major moments play out during the show, including a plethora of returns. The promotion was boosted by the returns of top stars like Kenny Omega, Will Ospreay, Adam Copeland and Christian Cage, among others.

Omega returned to challenge Swerve Strickland and earned a shot at the AEW World Championship, which is still held by MJF, following a brutal Texas Death Match with Hangman Adam Page.

Hangman Page set to miss AEW for some time

Page had added a unique stipulation to the match, stating that if he loses to MJF, he would never challenge for the World Championship again. Both men put on a brutal fight but Hangman Page ended up short in the bout.

He hasn’t been seen on AEW television since losing to the World Champion and is seems like Page is set for some well deserved time off following his war with MJF.

Fightful Select’s Sean Ross Sapp confirmed that Page will not be seen on All Elite programming for some time. While its not clear how long will the former AEW World Champion remain missing, he last took four months off following Revolution 2024, so we can expect him to follow a similar timeline.
