Ethan Page’s Bold WWE Challenge Ends in Defeat on NXT

WWE NXT kicked off with a bang tonight as the newly crowned North American Champion, Myles Borne, opened the show. He was celebrating his recent championship win during the opening segment.

The champion thanked Ethan Page for making him realize what he needed to do to become a champion, as he beat Page last week to become the champion.

Page then interrupted Borne in the ring and demanded to shoot at the title once again, which Myles accepted, and the two began an impromptu match right there, without even changing into their ring gear.

Borne and Page began brawling with each other as soon as a referee entered the ring, as both of them looked to end the match as champions. Both wrestlers gave it their all in the match, but couldn’t be separated.

Page then grabbed hold of Borne’s belt, but before he could hit him, the referee intervened, and Page threw the belt away. Taking advantage of the referee’s absence, he hits him with his belt, but could only get a two-count.

Borne then changed the tide on the champion as he used Page’s own shoe against him, behind the referee’s back, and then it him with a Borne Again to retain his WWE NXTNorth American Championship.
