Edge Set To Revive Iconic WWE Character

With the return to WWE of Edge looming, it seems as if we could also be in for a revival for ‘The Rated R Superstar’!

Edge has been absent from WWE television since the beginning of June. Having established The Judgment Day alongside Damian Priest and Rhea Ripley, he was ejected from the faction in favour of Finn Balor leading the group.

Having two Royal Rumble wins and a combined 11 WWE World Championship reigns on his resume, it would appear Edge is set to return in a high-profile position, as early as on the 25th July edition of Monday Night Raw which will take place at the historic Madison Square Garden in New York.

Bryan Alvarez has noted on Wrestling Observer Live that it is expected Edge will return under his ‘Rated R Superstar’ moniker. With the next Raw main evented by Finn Balor and Damian Priest taking on Dominik and Rey Mysterio, a return to set up a match at SummerSlam would be a logical move.

Edge lasted competed at WWE at Hell In A Cell, in a successful outing with The Judgment Day to defeat AJ Styles, Finn Balor and Liv Morgan. This came after his heel turn in the buildup to WrestleMania 38, when he attacked ‘The Phenomenal One’.
