BREAKING: MJF’s New Partners In AEW Officially Revealed
The AEW World Champion, MJF, was rocked with a massive challenge from Mark Briscoe last week on AEW Dynamite as he looks to dethrone Maxwell as the World Champion.
Briscoe called out MJF after defeating Pac last week and challenged him for his World Championship, but the champion refused to fight him. Mark then revealed the ace he had up his sleeve to get the match and challenged MJF to a massive non-title match.
He had already had a conversation with Tony Khan and announced a massive main event for Forbidden Door. He challenged MJF to a 6v6 Steel Cage match, and if his team won, MJF would have to give Briscoe a shot at the AEW World Championship.
MJF is set to team up with some massive AEW stars
MJF had to agree to the match as he had no choice and immediately began working to find five other members for his team. He reached out to Don Callis once again and offered him a huge sum of money to get them on their side.
Tonight, as AEW Dynamite kicked off, Don Callis announced the five members who will fight alongside MJF at Forbidden Door and also in the 12-man tag team match in the main event tonight.
Callis confirmed that the TNT Champion, Kevin Knight, will team up with MJF, along with the Protostar, Kyle Fletcher, Jake Doyle, Kazuchika Okada, and Andrade, who didn’t seem particularly happy about it, as he himself has his sights set on the AEW World Title.
