Polarizing WWE Star Reportedly “Protected” Backstage

A current top WWE star is reportedly protected backstage.

Jey Uso’s rise in WWE has been meteoric. After being in a tag team with Jimmy Uso for several years, Jey Uso’s popularity began to grow towards the end of his first run with The Bloodline. After breaking free from the group, Jey Uso went on to RAW as a singles star.

On the red brand, Jey Uso experienced immediate success and even won the Tag Titles along with Cody Rhodes. From there, things only went up for the WWE star. He was featured every week on WWE TV. Jey went on to win the Intercontinental Championship. The fans were also behind Jey as he quickly became one of the most popular stars on the roster. If that wasn’t enough, Jey went on to win the Royal Rumble last year. He then went on to challenge Gunther for the World Heavyweight Championship at WrestleMania 41. In a surprise turn of events, Jey was able to win the World Title. After losing the World Title, Jey Uso returned to the tag division after reuniting with Jimmy Uso. They even won the World Tag Team Championships. While Jey’s popularity continued to rise, there was criticism that the Yeet Master was too tired during his matches due to him yeeting during his entrances. There is also a big section of the WWE Universe that doesn’t want Jey Uso to get another World Championship run.

Ibou of Self Made recently reported that LA Knight has a love/hate relationship with WWE and is willing to call things out as he sees them. He also reported that some top stars in WWE don’t think he can work.

“LA Knight has a Love/Hate relationship with the office, is willing to call stupid things stupid, and some of the top guys think he can’t work. He’s unlikely to ever win the world title, the sooner everyone accepts this the better.”

When asked what the other top stars think of Jey Uso’s work in the ring, Ibou responded that the former World Champion is protected.

Jey Uso is currently in pursuit of the Undisputed WWE Championship held by Cody Rhodes.
