Jey Uso Reveals His Stance On Reuniting With Roman Reigns In WWE
On the night after WrestleMania 42, Jimmy & Jey Uso reunited with Roman Reigns.
The Usos were featured in a six-man tag team match at The Show of Shows, teaming up with LA Knight against the trio of The Vision (Austin Theory & Logan Paul) and IShowSpeed.
The bout was short-lived, which ended with Knight pinning Theory after hitting him with a BFT.
After the match, Paul bullied Speed, even smacking him across the face and threatening to put him through the commentator’s desk.
However, the tables turned on him when Knight and The Usos came to Speed’s aid by taking out Paul. They then encouraged the YouTuber to hit Paul with a splash by laying him on top of the announcer’s table, to which he obliged.
Leading up to WrestleMania 42, Jey Uso was also involved in a controversy for assaulting a podcaster/rapper named Cam’ron, which was probably used to hype the six-man tag match, as he was never reprimanded by WWE.
Jey Uso Happy To Be Associated With Roman Reigns
Between 2020 and 2023, Jey Uso was part of the faction Bloodline, led by Roman Reigns.
As the ‘Head of the Table,’ Reigns ruled with an iron fist, calling himself the Original Tribal Chief. His way of running the faction often irked The Usos, who clashed with him more than once.
However, the final straw came in 2023 when Jimmy was excommunicated after attacking Reigns at Night of Champions during a tag match against Sami Zayn and Kevin Owens.
After a couple of weeks, Jey Uso, too, turned on Reigns as he and Jimmy took out Reigns and Solo Sikoa to signal the end of their association with their cousin.
Post-breakup of the Bloodline, Jey stepped up as a singles wrestler and eventually won the 2025 Royal Rumble event.
At WrestleMania 41, he defeated Gunther to become the World Heavyweight Champion for the first time. However, his title reign lasted merely 51 days.
To close out the year, he re-entered the tag team division with his twin and won the tag titles on the final Raw episode.
At WrestleMania 42, Roman Reigns defeated CM Punk to become the new World Heavyweight Champion and invited The Usos to celebrate with him.
He then revealed his intention to reunite with his cousins, stating that he did not want them to serve him, but stand beside him as his blood, to which they agreed.
Not everyone watching Monday Night Raw was impressed by the decision, as former WWE employee Tommy Carlucci criticized the angle of bringing back the Bloodline after keeping them apart for nearly three years.
Jey Uso, however, claimed that he was excited to progress alongside his cousin.
During an interview with House of Solo, the 40-year-old wrestler said that he is happy to get another run with Roman Reigns.
I would like to give one more ‘right hand man’ run. One more run, after this YEET man run. It would be really special and feel really real. I think that is one version of me that I think I would like to give the WWE Universe.
