The WWE Raw episode after WrestleMania is usually full of surprises.

From wrestler returns to brand switches and more, it is one of the most talked-about nights during any given year for fans. The April 20 taping of the red brand was no different.

While the show witnessed the main roster debut of Ethan Page, the Raw debut of NXT’s Sol Ruca, and Paige’s return to the red brand after 8 years, it also saw the reunion of The Bloodline.

After winning the World Heavyweight Championship at WrestleMania 42 on Sunday, Roman Reigns was scheduled to address the WWE Universe.

On his way to the ring, he was met by The Usos at Gorilla Position. He urged them to join him in the ring, to which they obliged.

Reigns did not waste any time before bringing up ‘family business’ to his cousins, Jey & Jimmy Uso. The Original Tribal Chief claimed that he missed having them by his side.

He claimed that they were weak as separated unit, but the strongest when united. The 40-year-old also looked back on their time together, stating that they ran WWE for four years straight.

He then clarified that he was not asking them to serve him, but rather be his blood and join him again. The Usos agreed.

Ex-WWE Employee Unimpressed By The Bloodline’s Reunion

The Bloodline was officially set up as a WWE faction in 2020. While it was an ever-growing group comprising the Anoaʻi family, Maivia family, and the Tongans, their relationship was as tumultuous as it could get.

Nevertheless, Roman Reigns ruled with an iron fist, much to the chagrin of other members, who betrayed him multiple times, including The Usos.

While their 2026 reunion may be welcome news for some wrestling fans, not everyone has been left impressed.

Ex-WWE employee Tommy Carlucci kicked off the discussion on Behind The Turnbuckle Studios with Gabby LaSpisa, speaking about The Bloodline’s reunion.

He said that the reunion felt forced and there was no need to do it the second time.

It was a little strange for me that he brought The Usos out ’cause it seems like they’re trying to really bring back the band together, like the Beatles or something like that….it just doesn’t feel right to me.

I mean, we did it once and it was done phenomenally. We had Heyman there. We had Sami Zayn. They were strong as ever. It just felt like it was tired booking for me, tired creative. Oh, The Usos, they’re waiting in Gorilla, “Hey guys, come on out.” “Oh, were were this, and now we’re gonna be this.”

It was really…it seems like it’s being forced down our throat and I don’t like it. If I’m Jey Uso, I was a champ a year ago. If I’m Jimmy, you know, I’m doing stuff like that and now we’re gonna be behind Roman again and acknowledge me and do that? It just seems forced and I don’t like it.

I think time is time where The Bloodline was The Bloodline and it was great. As you know, we talked about it every week. It was great for like two or three years straight and now, Roman’s back to champ and now you’re gonna bring The Usos back together? It just didn’t feel right to me. [6:13 onward]
