Don Callis Replaces Injured AEW Star In Street Fight

Don Callis

The Don Callis Family might not be at full strength for an upcoming street fight but the manipulative manager has found a replacement.

Chris Jericho and Kenny Omega’s issues with The Don Callis Family continued on Dynamite recently as Callis challenged the pair to a Street Fight when Dynamite heads to Ontario, California. Omega accepted the challenge and noted they’d be joined by Kota Ibushi.

Callis pointed out his Family still had the numbers advantage when Chris Jericho brought out his ‘big’ friend that he’d teased and Paul Wight made his way to the entranceway. Kyle Fletcher approached the former Big Show but was rocked with a knockout punch for his troubles.

The AEW match sponsored by Sega’s Like a Dragon Gaiden will see Jericho, Omega, Wight, and Ibushi team up but Don Callis has found himself a man short due to the ongoing injury issues surrounding Sammy Guevara.

Don Callis Strikes Deal For AEW Star

On AEW Rampage, Don Callis was interviewed alongside the Mogul Embassy’s Prince Nana. With Guevara injured and with a child on the way, Callis revealed he had struck a deal with Nana to borrow Brian Cage to join his family in the huge bout. Cage will team up with Powerhouse Hobbs, Konosuke Takeshita, and Kyle Fletcher.
