Condolences To WWE Legend Brian Knobbs
A former WWE (WWF) Tag Team Champion recently revealed suffering a personal setback.
Brian Knobbs is renowned for his past stints in the Stamford promotion as well as World Championship Wrestling.
Starting his wrestling career in the American Wrestling Association. He also competed in Florida Championship Wrestling, where he became part of The Nasty Boys with Jerry Sags, winning 5 tag titles between 1988 and 1990.
Knobbs is also known for his feuds against The Hart Foundation, The Bushwackers, The Rockers, and Money Inc.
The duo left WWE, then WWF, for WCW in 1993, where they were managed by Missy Hyatt. There, they became the 3-time tag champions. Sags was forced into retirement after a shoot fight with Scott Hall that led to a legitimate injury.
It led to Brian Knobbs becoming a singles competitor and winning the WCW Hardcore Championship thrice.
In 2007, Knobbs and Sags reunited and competed in a dark match on SmackDown against Dave Taylor and Drew McIntyre. Despite their win, The Nasty Boys were accused of working stiffly, with the match also panned overall.
WWE Legend Bryan Knobbs’s Mother Passes Away
Former WWE star and legend Bryan Knobbs has faced his share of health issues over the years.
He has been hospitalized on multiple occasions, the veteran’s latest admission occurring in early February 2026.
On February 17, he revealed through an Instagram post that his mother had passed away.
Yesterday I lost my mom. She was the anchor of our family, the pillar of strength, and one of the strongest women I’ve ever known. She held us all together no matter what was going on. I’m really hurting right now.
I wish I could’ve gotten down there to see her one last time, that part is tough. But I thank God I was able to talk to her on the phone yesterday before she passed. That means everything to me. Life sure gets harder the older we get.
I’ve been fighting a lot of battles lately, and this one hits deep. But I’m grateful for my family, my friends, and my fans. You’ve gotten me through more than you know, and I appreciate every single one of you. Please keep my mom and my family in your prayers. Love you all. ❤️
