Cody Rhodes has made a bold statement about WWE’s creative.

Following his return to the Stamford-based company four years ago, Cody Rhodes entered a heated feud with Seth Rollins. The two superstars went head-to-head thrice, with all matches ending in The American Nightmare’s victory.

Their third match, which took place at Hell in a Cell, saw Rhodes compete with a torn right pectoral tendon. He then went on hiatus to undergo surgery and recover.

Cody Rhodes Didn’t Want To Be Written Off WWE TV Differently

In a recent interview with CHGO Wrestling, Cody Rhodes admitted he learned from the experience, saying it emboldened him to think bigger.

Meanwhile, he confessed he did not want to be written off TV with a backstage attack. He admitted that this creates a problem for the company.

I also felt like I don’t want my out to be written differently. TV wrestling, you know how it goes. You know, backstage guys laying there on the floor. Not me, man. And I feel like WWE’s got a problem with that that they have to look out with for me, is like I just know if I’m out, if I’m gonna get cut, if I’m going, I will be wrestling that last one. I will find a way. Just because, I don’t know, legs work. [9:06 onwards]
