WWE analyst predicts Cody Rhodes’ WrestleMania 42 match.

Cody Rhodes is currently in a rivalry with Drew McIntyre and Jacob Fatu, as he has been feuding with both men over the Undisputed WWE Championship. Rhodes lost the title earlier this year after Jacob Fatu interfered in his Three Stages of Hell match against Drew McIntyre on SmackDown.

Rhodes was hoping to win the Men’s Royal Rumble match and challenge Drew McIntyre for the title at WrestleMania 42. However, those plans fell apart after Roman Reigns picked up the victory.

Cody Rhodes Vs Drew McIntyre Vs Jacob Fatu At WrestleMania 42 Night One Main Event

Speaking on a recent edition of the Notsam Wrestling podcast, WWE analyst Sam Roberts predicted that Cody Rhodes will still have a match at WrestleMania 42 and it will be against Drew McIntyre and Jacob Fatu in a triple threat match. Roberts added that he believes the match will main event on Night 1 of WrestleMania 42.

I really feel like the main event of WrestleMania night one is going to be Cody, Jacob, and Drew. That’s what I think it is. (From 38:04)

On this week’s edition of Friday Night SmackDown, Cody Rhodes will face Jacob Fatu and Sami Zayn in an Elimination Chamber qualifying match. The winner will earn a spot in the Men’s Elimination Chamber match, with a chance to compete for the Undisputed WWE Championship at WrestleMania 42.
