Cody Rhodes Vs. Randy Orton To Happen At WWE WrestleMania 42?

Cody Rhodes’ WrestleMania 42 plans are yet to be set, but he might be one step closer to the Undisputed WWE Championship.

On the latest episode of WWE SmackDown, The American Nightmare qualified for the Elimination Chamber match. If he wins, he has the opportunity to challenge for the Undisputed WWE Championship.

However, so far only three spots have been taken: Randy Orton, LA Knight, and Rhodes. Whether or not Cody Rhodes is the top choice will only be known after all the spots are filled.

Cody Rhodes could battle Randy Orton at WrestleMania 42

On the Busted Open Podcast, Dave LaGreca suggested that Jacob Fatu should win the match against Knight and Rhodes so The American Nightmare could battle Randy Orton at WrestleMania 42.

However, Rhodes qualified for the Elimination Chamber match. Now, if neither Rhodes nor Orton wins the Elimination Chamber match, the duo can move to WrestleMania 42 against each other.

On the same podcast, Bully Ray suggested that WWE will have to visit Rhodes, hitting Randy Orton with a Cody Cutter. However, it needs to be when the time is absolutely right for the superstars.

I mean, Cody did hit a Cody cutter on Randy, didn’t he? In the Rumble inadvertently, but it still happened. They still have to go back and address that. I want Cody and Randy only when the time is absolutely perfect for Cody and Randy.
