Cody Rhodes Issues Warning To TKO About WWE Star: “That’s A No”

As one of the top superstars in WWE, Cody Rhodes always speaks his mind. 

In 2025, there was a moment when a superstar was released, and it sent waves of shock throughout the locker rooms. Both the rosters were taken aback, especially since the name in question was R-Truth.

Not only did the pro-wrestling community speak up for him, but the WWE Universe was also livid. The fans demanded that Truth be brought back and that he be given the final run that he deserves.

Cody Rhodes warned TKO about R-Truth

WWE Unreal Season 2 Episode 2 addresses WWE releasing R-Truth, what Triple H revealed about the situation, and how others reacted. In that, Cody Rhodes was seen saying that nobody can touch Truth, and WWE absolutely needs the veteran.

There are things that’s, “No”. That’s a no. Can’t touch him. So, I don’t care if we are paying him, I don’t care. We need R-Truth.

WWE eventually brought back R-Truth, but under the name Ron Killings. It was one of the clauses that the veteran had added to the contract so that he could start working with that name right after his final run with WWE was over.
