Cody Rhodes Given Heartwarming Gift (VIDEO)

Cody Rhodes WWE Smile

Cody Rhodes was given an incredible gift that pays tribute to his WWE Hall of Fame father.

As the son of the late, great WWE Hall of Famer Dusty Rhodes and the younger brother of AEW’s wrestling legend Dustin Rhodes, Cody Rhodes hasn’t had it easy in the wrestling business.

While the Rhodes name certainly helped Cody get his foot in the door, it took him nearly two decades to become WWE Champion for the first time in April 2024.

Dusty Rhodes died in 2015 at the age of 69, yet his name is still uttered on WWE television all the time. Drew McIntyre used Dusty’s name to infuriate Cody Rhodes during their WWE Title feud because Drew claimed Dusty was in hell, and Cody obviously didn’t like that claim.

There are many times when Cody speaks about his legendary father Dusty, who was a mentor to a lot of current WWE superstars as well, and he gets emotional when talking about him, with good reason.

In a video posted by Topps on social media, Cody Rhodes was gifted a special card that includes photos and signatures by Dusty and Cody together. Cody was told that he could have the card, which he put in his suit jacket pocket.

“Wow, look! You got a real signature too. That’s cool, I don’t even want to take it out because it’s so sweet. Take a look at that.

Man, there’s not a lot of stuff with him and I on it. That’s really, really special. They’re very tough to find. Oh my gosh, I love it.”

Cody Rhodes Looking For Revenge At WWE Saturday Night’s Main Event

In a 3 Stages Of Hell match on the January 9th edition of WWE SmackDown in Berlin, Drew McIntyre beat Cody Rhodes to win the Undisputed WWE Title in controversial fashion.

During their Steel Cage Match, Jacob Fatu showed up to prevent McIntyre from leaving the cage to win the match. When Rhodes saw Fatu get in the ring, he grabbed Fatu, who ended up fighting with Rhodes on the far side of the ring. That fight led to McIntyre crawling out the door to win the cage match and become a 4-time WWE World Champion.

On WWE SmackDown in London, Cody and Jacob got into a huge brawl that was separated by officials and security. It was later announced that Cody would face Jacob in a huge grudge match at Saturday Night’s Main Event on January 24th in Montreal, which is one week before the Royal Rumble.

Cody Rhodes has also confirmed he’ll be in the Men’s Royal Rumble match on January 31st as he looks to become the second man to win it three times, joining “Stone Cold” Steve Austin.
