WWE Royal Rumble 2026 Officially Gets Its First Entrant

Former Undisputed WWE Champion Cody Rhodes came out to the ring tonight as he looked to address his huge loss last week to Drew McIntyre.

Cody took on Drew in a Three Stages of Hell match last week, and they both pushed each other to the limit and beyond last week, but Cody ultimately lost the title following Jacob Fatu’s interference.

Fatu returned to the blue brand last week after being away from television for a few months and immediately went after Drew and Cody. While he was occupied with Rhodes, McIntyre escaped the ring to become the champion.

Cody Rhodes officially declares for WWE Royal Rumble

Drew revealed earlier in the night that Cody Rhodes won’t get a rematch and has to go to the back of the line to earn a shot at the title. Cody revealed other plans for getting his hands on the title.

He officially announced that he is entering the Royal Rumble in an attempt to win the match for a third time, before letting Jacob Fatu know that he is coming after the former Bloodline member.
