WWE Clash in Italy turned out to be an exciting one for the fans as the promotion hosted its first-ever Premium Live Event in the country. The show featured some extremely entertaining matches on the card.

The show featured both men’s World Championships on the card, which saw Cody Rhodes defend his Undisputed WWE Championship against Gunther to open the show.

This meant that the night was closed out by Roman Reigns, who defeated Jacob Fatu in a Tribal Combat to retain the World Heavyweight Championship. Following his win, Roman directed a message at his former rival, Cody Rhodes.

As the OTC headed to the back, he looked at the camera and stated that everyone should forget about the QB1 (Cody Rhodes) and instead focus on the Tribal Chief. On the post-show conference, the American Nightmare responded to his comments.

Roman doesn’t have two wins over me. I don’t have two wins over him. He beat me once, and I beat his ass once. So, I don’t know… add him to the list. Easy to find, hard to get. And that goes for Roman Reigns as well.” Cody said.

Roman defeated Cody at WrestleMania 39 before the American Nightmare ended his 1316-day run as the Undisputed WWE Champion at WrestleMania XL. Fans have been clamouring for a final match between the two, and this could sow the seeds for a potential rematch sometime down the line.
