Cody Rhodes Is The Bad Guy, Claims WWE Champion
Cody Rhodes has been on the edge recently, but does that make him a bad guy?
Ever since Drew McIntyre dethroned The American Nightmare, Rhodes has been looking for a way to secure the rematch. He can’t just challenge for it because McIntyre had a no-rematch clause added to the contract.
Cody Rhodes has qualified for the Elimination Chamber men’s match. If all goes well and he wins the match, he will be able to challenge McIntyre for the Undisputed WWE Championship at WrestleMania 42.
Cody Rhodes is losing his mind without the title
Recently, Drew McIntyre appeared on Busted Open Radio. He spoke at length about Cody Rhodes and laid out the reasons why The American Nightmare is the bad guy. He claimed that Rhodes is losing his mind without the title and is revealing his true selfish side.
On paper, like if you just like don’t listen to the reactions, look at everything on paper. He is the bad guy.
He’s the petty one. I said this is all that matters to Cody Rhodes is the title. He’s what he lives and dies by. Without it, who is he? And we’ve seen who he is. He’s cracking. Um, he’s lost his mind. He’s, you know, resorting to, you know, whatever he has to resort to to try and, I don’t know, get the title back, get the opportunity again.
Cody Rhodes, without the title, is a broken man, a petty man, and revealing the true self, which is a very, very selfish man. He wants a spotlight on himself.
It has been speculated that either Drew McIntyre or Randy Orton can bring out his dark side and push him to turn heel.
