Three Matches Announced For June 12th WWE Raw Including Cody Rhodes In Action

Three big matches have been announced for the June 12th episode of WWE Raw including Cody Rhodes in a match, plus a MITB qualifier.

Even though he is sporting a cast on his left arm/wrist due to a broken bone (it’s just a storyline), Cody Rhodes will be competing in a match on the June 12th episode of Raw from Wichita, Kansas. Three matches were announced during a commercial that aired during the June 9th Smackdown episode.

The man Cody Rhodes will face on Raw is The Miz, who hosted Cody on the Miz TV talk show this past Monday on Raw. During his appearance on Miz TV, Cody Rhode was interrupted by Dominik Mysterio & Rhea Ripley while also getting into an altercation with The Miz.

After Dominik Mysterio slapped Cody in the face, he hid behind Ripley and left the ring. The Miz was laughing about what Dominik did to Cody, so Cody decked Miz with the cast that Cody had on his left hand. Due to all of that chaos, it’s Cody Rhodes facing The Miz this Monday on Raw.

There is also a Men’s Money in the Bank Qualifying Match with Matt Riddle facing Damian Priest. The winner of that match will qualify for the Money in the Bank match in London, England on Saturday, July 1st. The winner will join Butch, who is from England, LA Knight, Shinsuke Nakamura, Ricochet and Santos Escobar in the match.

The WWE Tag Team Champions Kevin Owens & Sami Zayn will also face Imperium’s GUNTHER & Ludwing Kaiser in a tag team match. Here’s more on that match from WWE’s website.

Imperium is becoming a thorn in the side of Undisputed WWE Tag Team Champions Kevin Owens & Sami Zayn.

Most recently, interference from Intercontinental Champion Gunther’s “sacred” forces helped The Ring General defeat KO on last week’s episode of the red brand.

Now, Owens and Zayn will look for payback when they battle Gunther and Kaiser in a heated tag team showdown.
