CM Punk Addresses Whether Roman Reigns Really Hates Him

Roman Reigns chose CM Punk as his choice of world champion to challenge for WrestleMania 42. 

The OTC and The Best in the World’s rivalry began back at WrestleMania 41 when Punk ensured Paul Heyman left Reigns’ side for the premium live event.

While Heyman ultimately betrayed both Reigns and Punk to align with Seth Rollins, Roman Reigns seems to believe that the root of all evil was CM Punk and not particularly Seth Rollins.

CM Punk addressed Roman Reigns’ WWE RAW segment

On the RAW following the Royal Rumble, Roman Reigns picked The Best in the World. He claimed that he is picking CM Punk because of hates him.

While speaking on Up & Adams Show with Kay Adams, this hate was brought up. Punk was asked why Reigns hated him. To this, the Second City Saint replied by questioning if Reigns really hates Punk or it’s two best men in the industry going up against each other in a “d*ck measuring contest”.

You think he really hates me? I mean hate and love. It’s a fine line, you know. Uh the lore is we’re two top guys in the industry. So it’s going to be, you know, it’s going to be a measuring contest. You see, I’m being very, uh I’m being cautious about my words.

D*ck measuring contest. I can say that.

If Roman Reigns dethrones CM Punk, the feud can extend to a Triple Threat Match between Punk, Reigns, and Seth Rollins at Backlash or the following premium live event.
