CM Punk Reunites With Ex-AEW Star In WWE; Immediately Tells Him To Stay Away
WWE Raw emanated from Madison Square Garden in New York City on Monday.
While it was a meeting between wrestlers and celebrities, in a way, CM Punk also reunited with his former AEW colleague. However, their interaction was not as jovial as fans would expect.
A 34-second video shared by Danhausen on X shows him at his debut autograph session at MSG, where he sat beside the current WWE World Heavyweight Champion.
In the video, the 35-year-old star calls himself one of the top guys in the company alongside the likes of Punk, John Cena, and Cody Rhodes.
He then asks for a high-five from CM Punk, who has been staring at him awkwardly all this time. Punk simply pulls out a $20 bill from his wallet (as a way to evade a potential curse), saying, “Stay away from me,” before walking away.
On the show, Danhausen also announced WWE’s return to Madison Square Garden on July 18 for Saturday Night’s Main Event.

CM Punk Avenges Last Week’s Humiliation On WWE Raw
Last week’s Raw taping in Boston saw CM Punk being put through a table by his WrestleMania 42 opponent, Roman Reigns. Despite being annihilated, he laughed, stating that he was fine and he was not the one who needed help.
On March 30, Reigns was in Madison Square Garden to speak more about his match against Punk in three weeks and potentially discuss last week’s attack.
However, Punk soon made his way out as both superstars began punching each other.
As seen in the previous weeks, the staff came out to separate the two wrestlers, but were unsuccessful. This time around, CM Punk had the advantage as he avenged his humiliation by putting Reigns through the table this week.

With just three weeks remaining for WrestleMania 42, both Punk and Reigns go in even-stevens, having demonstrated their respective offenses.
