CM Punk Pitches Title Vs. Title At WWE Royal Rumble 2026

CM Punk was not amused by Drew McIntyre’s jab at him on Saturday.

During an interview on the Royal Rumble pre-show, The Scottish Warrior discussed his upcoming match against Sami Zayn for the Undisputed WWE Championship.

Before doing so, he fired shots at World Heavyweight Champion CM Punk, who was on the pre-show panel, calling him a “tattooed sociopath”.

McIntyre also said that Punk disrespects the title by defending it constantly. He instead said that a champion should defend the title only against those who earn that right.

He then praised Sami Zayn’s recent persistence, while claiming that he was not the same wrestler that he has beaten 11 times.

CM Punk Issues A Challenge To Drew McIntyre

CM Punk was asked to share his thoughts about Drew McIntyre‘s jibe at him.

There’s really nothing I have to say, like, unless he wants to put his money where his mouth is, and we can do a title vs. title. I believe we can do that. Until then, he remains just the men’s champion to me.
